The Quran by Heart (the “App”) is provided by CAPNKLUTCH INC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
The App does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or payment information.
The App stores your settings, reading state, memorization selections, quiz progress, navigation preferences, and cached Quran text, page layout, fonts, and verse timing data locally on your device. We do not receive this locally stored information. You can remove it by deleting the App from your device.
Memorization selections and reading activity may reflect religious interests. This information remains on your device and is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale.
The App uses encrypted network connections to retrieve Quran text, page-layout data, fonts, verse timings, and recitation audio from content providers including Quran Foundation/Quran.com, Al Quran Cloud, MP3Quran, jsDelivr, and Google Fonts. Those providers may receive standard technical request information such as your IP address, device or browser information, and the requested resource, subject to their own privacy practices.
The App is an independent product and is not an official application of Quran Foundation, Quran.com, Al Quran Cloud, or MP3Quran.
The App uses Expo Application Services to check for and download software updates. Expo may process your device operating system, a randomized installation token, IP address, update-download status, and limited error or performance information needed to deliver and diagnose updates. This information is not used by us to track you across apps or websites.
We use network services only to provide App content, deliver updates, maintain reliability, and troubleshoot failures. We do not sell personal information. The App contains no third-party advertising and does not use information for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
Information may be processed by the service providers described above to perform their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business reorganization, subject to applicable law.
Local App data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Network providers may retain limited request or diagnostic records according to their own policies and legal obligations. You may stop future processing by discontinuing use and uninstalling the App.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including access, correction, deletion, or objection. Because we do not operate user accounts or receive your locally stored reading and memorization data, we generally cannot identify or retrieve that on-device data.
The App is suitable for a general audience, does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and does not include advertising, social features, or user-to-user communication. A parent or guardian who has a privacy concern may contact us.
The App uses HTTPS for supported network requests. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as the App or applicable requirements change. We will revise the effective date when we make changes.
